Support the Museum

Since its founding, the Scotia-Glenville Children's Museum has served over 1.5 million
individuals.  The Traveling Museum is an out of the ordinary concept that works!
Museum teachers visit schools and other educational settings with fascinating hands-on
exhibits that become even more interesting when explained, examined and discussed.
Children respond with curiosity and wonder when given the opportunity to touch and use
objects they may have never seen.

The Curiosity Campaign
As a museum that encourages the participants to touch and use the exhibits, our
collection items receive a lot of wear and tear.  Each year we ask members, friends and
supporters to give the extra dollars that keep the museum traveling.  Consider making a
contribution to The Curiosity Campaign, which will provide money for the purchase of
exhibit items to be used in traveling programs.

Volunteers are critical to the success of the museum.  We are in need of specific skills
such as marketing and PR, computer technology, plumbing and electrical work, and
committee members.  Always needed are volunteers to organize and pack supplies for
museum presentations.  Please contact us for specifics.
